Dead Meat by Patrick Williams & Chris Williams Tour

Thank you for stopping by on the tour to read some of my thoughts on the book. This Tour was made possibly by:

The city of River's Edge has been quarantined due to a rodent borne rabies outbreak. But it quickly becomes clear to the citizens that the infection it is something much, much worse than rabies...
The townsfolk are attacked and fed upon by packs of the living dead. Labeling the infected residents bees for their tendency to travel in swarms, Gavin and Benny attempt to survive the chaos in River's Edge while making their way north in search of sanctuary. No one knows what waits outside the quarantined zone, but Gavin and Benny know that to survive, they must escape.
I think the best aspect of the story, the part that drew me in more then any other zombie story is the fact that it seemed real. There was no group of survivor's know they are going to die, and instead of having that unrealistic hope and trying to band together to make sure they survive, they do what they have to do to make sure they are the last ones to die.

I also liked that the army used the living to draw out the bee's (zombies.)  It was also interesting how the virus was spread, through rabid rat's, that was definitely a new one.

So for shade's of gray in a kill or be killed new world, this is definitely a book you want to give a try.

3 Ravens (It was ok.)
