Supernaturally Kissed Tour Stop!

Synopsis:
Ghosts harass and annoy Tess Jennings to save their souls. Sometimes she helps them. Other times she ignores them. But one ghost will give her no choice.

Kipp McGowen, a cop with the Memphis Police Department, will stop at nothing to gain her help, including using his ghostly charms to seduce her.
Tess must help solve the five year old cold case of Hannah Reid, because solving the case will save Kipp. But a bigger problem presents itself. Tess is falling in love with a ghost. Now she must decide.

Keep Kipp forever or find the killer…

Review:
If you are a murder mystery slueth fascinated by the who-done-it ,this is a tale for you, including a paranormal aspect that adds to the mix of things.

Supernaturally kissed will have steam coming out of your ears as pulse pounding erotica occurs between solving the murder mystery that has kept Kipp from moving on.

I found myself wondering, before I was actually able to get involved in the book, how it was going to work. A relationship between a ghost and a living person just seemed kind of out there, I will say it reminded me of a story I read on quizilla as a teenager where things were similar but the ghost left a glow in the dark hickey that made me laugh.

They deffinetly tackle that little problem without so much as an eye blink it seemed like. And while the story was fascinating as I tried to put all the pieces together right along side them, one of the things I didn't like was all the sex in it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy those type of scenes just as much as the next girl, but at a point it can be to much. Perhaps it was the far out notion of a ghost and a living person that just weirded me out but it just seemed like the erotica of it didn't fit well with the story.

I will say one thing I did like about the story was the killer was not thrown in your face every chance they got. It was actually hard to spot until right at the last moment almost.

About the Author:
I love paranormal romance/urban fantasy and erotic romance, and love a series more. Nothing can hook me in more than an adventure and one that keeps on going. I love a page turner, one that keeps me up late into the night and makes my eyes burn because I can’t stop reading.

Witty characters, dominant men, danger, action, romance and hot sex―oh my!

My urban fantasy romance novels are lighthearted fantasy with heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again. But within the stories you’ll find fast paced action, emotions we can all relate to, life threatening moments and a big bad villain that needs to be destroyed.

My erotic romance novels are just that…erotic. There is nothing better than taking the dominant men I love and watching them do wicked things to their women. I make the stories as hot as I possibly can and usually the characters take it a step further to even make my cheeks blush. But I just can’t write without a little humor added into the mix so that’s always a must have in my stories. And of course what’s a story without a big dose of emotional characters, too.

I’m a multi-published author and am represented by Lauren Ruth of BookEnds, who is my strengthen in this crazy world of publishing. I’ve written quite a few short novels and novellas, and starting in 2012 my full-length novels will release, which is exciting times.

My journey as a writer all began as a way to keep my brain alive since being a stay at home mom can be a little let’s say―numbing. It was an escape from screaming kids, dirty diapers and plain old mom duty. It started as a hobby, but as the stories progressed it became a passion, especially when it comes down to the juicy bits. Every mom needs a good thrill! Now with my kiddos in school, I have more time to indulge and get lost in another world for a little while.

I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband who gave me my happily ever after. We have two small children who keep me on my toes and can always make me smile. But we also have basically a zoo at our house with one dog, three cats and two guinea pigs. I love the outdoors, curling up with the latest flick and simply enjoying life.

If I’m not plugging away at a new story—which isn’t often since my muse is annoying and keeps me busy—I’ve got my nose buried deep in a good book! I’m always on the lookout for new authors to love.

So there it is―my life!

The Guardian by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Synopsis:
Dream-Hunter Lydia has been charged with the most sacred and dangerous of missions: To descend into the Nether Realm and find the missing god of dreams before he betrays the secrets that could kill her and her kind. What she never expects is to be taken prisoner by the Realm’s most vicious guardian…

Seth’s time is running out. If he can’t hand over the entrance to Olympus, his own life and those of his people will be forfeit. No matter the torture, Seth hasn’t been able to break the god in his custody. Then there’s the beautiful Dream-Hunter Lydia: She isn’t just guarding the gates of Olympus—she’s holding back one of the world’s darkest powers. If she fails, an ancient curse will haunt the earth once more and no one will be safe. But evil is always seductive...
Review:
For anyone who has read the saga that is sweeping the nation be it the Dark-Hunter, Dream hunter and so on, of Sherrilyn Kenyon's work's then you know that the main charachter is no stranger to heartache. The king of heartache and pain being Acheron himself, hopefully you my fellow reader have read his story and that of Zarek, because they are the ones I think who had it the worst. But Seth gives them a run for their money.
I always felt so bad for the poor boy whose father was the powerfull Egyptian god SET, and through the story you see as each time the people he considers his family and he actually lets under his guard betray him in some of the worst ways possible until he is sold into slavery, to a god or powerful being of Hell and literally has ages upon ages of torture.
One of the things I loved about this book was the fact that they took a step away from the well known Greek Gods and traveled into Egyptian territory.
I could also relate with how hard it is to let someone in after you have been stomped on time and time again and then kicked when you are down just for safe measure.
This book will break your heart and rebuild it.

Favorite Charrie: Jaden, he always is one of my favorite characters for his smart ass mouth and go to hell attitude no matter what.

Juliet Immortal by Stacey Jay

Synopsis:
"These violent delights have violent ends
And in their triumph die, like fire and powder,
Which as they kiss consume."
—Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

The most tragic love story in history . . .

Juliet Capulet didn't take her own life. She was murdered by the person she trusted most, her new husband, Romeo Montague, a sacrifice made to ensure his own immortality. But what Romeo didn't anticipate was that Juliet would be granted eternity, as well, and would become an agent for the Ambassadors of Light. For 700 years, she's fought Romeo for the souls of true lovers, struggling to preserve romantic love and the lives of the innocent. Until the day she meets someone she's forbidden to love, and Romeo, oh Romeo, will do everything in his power to destroy that love

Review:

What really happened to those star crossed lovers that Shakespeare immortalized, that young love base their relationships on and romantics hope for?
The ending isn't what it seems as the author picks up where Shakespeare left off and gives the truth about what really happened.
Romeo isn't the sweet heart portrayed but instead the villain who knowingly killed Juliet to save his own life.
I actually loved the twist on this classic tale. I won the book in a giveaway and it has been in my TBR pile for a long time, after my Kindle bit the dust thanks to a serious case of the drop hands, I was able to crack the spine and dig in.
I was never a fan of the classic ending, ending your own life and what not without thinking it through. Even at my most rose colored glasses phase I was not that bad...I hope. >.>
Still, as this time comes around and Juliet is given another chance as she is fighting evil forces that gain from separating soul mates and causing one to sacrifice the other, she is a cynic and hardly up for the whole lets be soul mates this time.

Charrie: Ben because he never gave up trying to be there for her.

Goddess of Love by P.C. Cast

Synopsis:
With "humor and verve," (Publishers Weekly) Cast tells the story of the mythical Venus who comes to life to help a nerdy woman find her inner goddess.

Pea Chamberlain needs a makeover-shoes, hair, clothes, make-up-if she wants to attract an Ÿbersexy fireman. And who could better coax Pea out of her pod than the Goddess of Love, whom she invokes in a moment of desperation?

Venus works her magic on Pea, but who will help her when she falls for that same sexy fireman? Could Venus need a love makeover for herself? Check out the five-alarm heat when the Goddess of Love unexpectedly loses her heart

Review:
Out of all of the goddess summoning books, I think this one is my favorite. And what better time to post a review then right after Valentines Day. Aphrodite gets summoned by a little no body named Pea and becomes stuck in the mortal realm until she helps her.

You really connect with Pea because unlike the other heroin's of most tales, she is not the most glamorous. She doesn't know how to dress, how to tame her wild mane of curls, and she doesn't know how to deal with men. A problem I know I had all through out high school.

This read is truly heart warming as we watch two outcasts fall in love and the goddess herself find love in an unsuspecting place.

Their struggle to fulfill their hearts desire is an awesome read and one I have added to my shelves. For those romantic's, closet or out in the open, this is a must read as you wait with bated breath to see where their troubles will lead them.

Rating: 5 Stars!
Favorite Charachter: Pea.

Valentines day has held a special place in my heart, perhaps it is the closet romantic that just loves to watch all the sappy romance and little hearts floating around people's head as Cupid fires away. So, cuddle up on the couch with that raging fire as you crack open books 1-3 in a boxed set of Stephany Plums life. *Cough Cough* And! Go see the movie! Just because I am dying to.

A Little Night Magic by Lucy March

Borrowed from a Friend

Review:
Through the entire store the floor is covered in a simple standard checker board pattern. And yet there is one square that is out of place, one square that is light blue in color and one square that Liv was told as a child, that had the ability to grant wishes.
At one time she even believed in the power it could have possessed, it granted her the things she wished on when she stood on that one square, but when it didn't grant her wish to save her mother from the icy grips of the Grim as she was diagnosed with cancer, Liv stopped wishing and even went through great attempts to avoid that square.
I thought it would be rather funny if some crazy old lady, and lord knows I have enough of them come through my store ordering food, would throw a stinky gym sock in my face as a DNA test of the magical sorts like what happened to Liv.
I liked that there wasn't really a happy ending, it showed how mean girls can get when their true colors are shown and they are given a little bit of power to exact their revenge. After all the saying goes that Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
I loved that the who-done-it reveal was not who you thought it would be and all the while her world is turned upside down and she has to fight for true love.

Synopsis:
Olivia Kiskey needs a change. She’s been working at the same Nodaway Falls, New York, waffle house since she was a teenager; not a lot of upward mobility there. She’s been in love with Tobias, the cook, for the last four years; he’s never made a move. Every Saturday night, she gathers with her three best friends—Peach, Millie, and Stacy—and drinks the same margaritas while listening to the same old stories. Intent on shaking things up, she puts her house on the market, buys a one-way ticket to Europe, and announces her plans to her friends . . . but then she meets Davina Granville, a strange and mystical Southern woman who shows Olivia that there is more to her life than she ever dreamed. As Liv’s latent magical powers come to the surface, she discovers that having an interesting life is maybe not all it’s cracked up to be. The dark side of someone else’s magic is taking over good people in town, and changing them into vessels of malevolence. Unwilling to cede her home to darkness, she battles the demons of her familial past and her magical present, with those she loves at her side . . . and in the cross fire. Can the most important things in life—friendship, love, magic, and waffles—get her through the worst that the universe can throw at her?

Warrior's Redemption by Melissa Mayhue

Won it in a give away  from Good reads

Synopsis
Will the magic of modern romance help him defeat an evil ancient power?

MALCOLM MACDOWYLT sees himself a failed warrior, haunted by the death of the woman he married to become laird of Clan MacGahan. Neither his Viking heritage nor his claim to descend from Norse gods can restore his confidence in his ability to protect his people. His sister is held captive, her life in jeopardy, and his Magically powerful half brother wants him dead. The last thing he needs is more responsibility, but that's exactly what he gets when his Faerie mother-in-law arrives seeking justice for her daughter in the form of an enticing woman from seven hundred years in the future.

DANIELLE DEARMON has waited fifteen years to discover the life she is supposed to live. She just never dreamed she'd end up in the thirteenth century with a handsome Scot bent on saving everyone but himself.

With the lives of those most dear to him hanging in the balance, Malcolm sets out to battle a powerful evil Magic, only to learn that the redemption he seeks exists only in the arms of the woman he loves

Review:
What happens when modern day is transported to ancient Scotland and lands smack dab in a dangerous family feud?
You are given a wonderful love story full of fairy's and accent's combined is what happens.
Malcom's already lost one wife and blames himself entirely over it, despite the opinions of others.  Because of that his heart is closed off to the female sex, after all once bitten twice shy so the saying goes. It doesn't help that his thoughts are otherwise preoccupied with how to fight the eldest of his brothers and save his sister.
Dani, our heroin of the story definitely had her work cut out for her as she found herself quickly falling for her 'ancient' viking. But can she give up her soul mate and return to her own time for the sake of her people that she has come to love.
This story had a little bit of everything for me and I enjoyed it allot. True it seemed a little rushed but the romance and steam certainly made up for it.

BloodRose by Andrea Cremer

Synopsis:
Is true love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy

Review:
They didn't skimp on the number of people that became casualties of war. IT was as if friends had died as I read on and the final fate became announced.
We are taken on an epic quest to find the pieces of the ultimate weapon. There are decisions made based on the love triangle that left many people talking about who was Team Ren. (The right team >.> ) Ahem. And who was Team Shay.
Then there is that battle to end all battles where brother went against sister and father against daughter. It truly had the entire package...even if that package left me extremely upset in the end. So much in fact that I almost wish I could demand a re-write.
I did love the ending though, it completely shocked and floored me but it is one I would not have done any other way.

Favorite charrie:
Ren and Sabbine though I can't say why. You have to read it to understand.
Also, Conor will always be a favorite because of the Comedic Relief he gave.
