Author Bio:
Interview with the author:
What's your biggest fear and why?
Does being a mother / grandmother help you relate with characters?
Yes and no. I mean, I get a lot of the lingo and definitely the attitudes for my characters from my teens, but as far as I know none of my children grow fur or bite folks on the neck…lol.
Which character was easiest to write for and why? Who was the hardest?
Genevieve was super easy to write. I think it’s because I have always had a good relationship with my daughters, therefore I could easily relate to Genevieve. The hardest is William. First of all, he is a vampire in love with a hybrid. And he has a lot on him, trying to keep her safe, and always competing with Joseph, which makes his temper a little on edge.
What do you do when you have writer's block?
I close my laptop, pour a cup of coffee, and pick up a book. Once I lose myself in the story, my block disappears.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to talk with us. Any last words you would like to leave us with?
Yes. Thank you so much for having me on your site. Both books in the Blood Moon series are available on all e-sites as well as paperback, too. Book 3 in the series is due out later this fall.
Synopsis:
Genevieve Labreck is back with a score to settle. Her mom has been kidnapped by Zane, hybrid and all-around monster. Rumors fly that Gen’s mom is holed away in Prague, a city recognized by humans for its serene beauty and intense culture, but Gen and Will know something humans don’t. Prague is haunted by dark, evil forces.
Can Gen and Will save her mom, or will they be too late?
Some will live, others will fall. At what price do you walk away from those you love
Review:
This was one of those books that I found I couldn't put down, it was so hard to drag myself up for air and remember which world was real.
It was really hard for me to get into it at first, a part of it being I started back to work and I had to get into the groove of thing's then, and at first I won't lie I wasn't sure that I was going to like it due to the fact that it seemed like parts of the book needed a little bit more time to develop. It was still beautifully written and one I will recommend for future reader's.

Interview with the author:
What
is the best part of being an author, what is the worst?
The best part is the gratification you feel when you see your
blood, sweat, and tears in print. The worst part is when your book sales start
falling off. It makes you feel like you’re not the author you thought you were.
Where
did you get the idea for your story?
It was a terrible nightmare I’d had and once I awoke from it
refused to go back to bed. My oldest wake up and found me on the couch, so we
started talking about it, and an hour later, Ties To The Blood moon was born.
What's your biggest fear and why?
Failure. I think its true for anyone. No one wants to hear their
books aren’t good enough.
Does being a mother / grandmother help you relate with characters?
Yes and no. I mean, I get a lot of the lingo and definitely the attitudes for my characters from my teens, but as far as I know none of my children grow fur or bite folks on the neck…lol.

What
is your favorite animal and why?
The dog, of course. Seriously, I grew up with dogs. They were
mostly small breeds though, like Pekingese. My favorite of the dog breeds is
the Doberman. I’ve owned four in my life. I’d have to say they are the best!
What do you do when you have writer's block?
I close my laptop, pour a cup of coffee, and pick up a book. Once I lose myself in the story, my block disappears.
What's
your favorite fairy tale and why?
Cinderella. I love how she gets the prince in the end and her
evil step mother and both step-sisters are left with nothing. Good conquers
evil!! Love it.
