Alice 19th Vol 1 by Yu Watase

Synopsis:
Alice Seno seems like a normal girl in high school. She's a bit shy, she has a crush on a boy name Kyo, and she has a pretty older sister, Mayura, who is more popular than she is - especially with Kyou. Pretty normal stuff, until one day when, walking down the street, Alice hears strange voices instructing her to save a rabbit from being run over by a car. Alice's brave act almost costs her her life, but the handsome Kyo saves her. Meanwhile, it seems the rabbit is no ordinary bunny, but a magical entity with great powers. Before she can figure out what's going on, the rabbit vanishes, only to reappear as a beam of light with a strange message just for Alice.

I read this in Middle School and borrowed it from a friend

Review:
I have bits and pieces of this manga on my shelf, and by bits and pieces I mean different volumes. I know , rest assured that fast pacing of your heart at the thought of a book being degraded and torn apart is simply not true.
It has been much to my dismay that I have only been able to acquire volumes 2, 5 and 6 I believe of the series. I know, what an odd sort to have come by but none the less it is true.
This series reminds me a lot of Card captures and Sailor moon.
It is one of my favorite series in which the girl has to find word's that hold power, that is right, you heard me...well read me right, words are the power. Each word has magic tied to it, it is an interesting concept. The power words have as well as the emotion behind it.

Alice is constantly out shined by her older sister, who just so happens to love the same boy she does. No surprise as it seems all good books have a complicated love triangle.

Favorite Charrie : Frey, believe me once you know him even from like the one page at the end of Vol. 1, you will love him.

Rating:
5 stars!
