Synopsis:
Would you send a villain to do a hero's job? An exciting new twisted fairy tale series from award-winning author Jen Calonita.

Full of regret, Cinderella's wicked stepmother, Flora, has founded the Fairy Tale Reform School with the mission of turning the wicked and criminally mischievous into upstanding members of Enchantasia.

Impish, sassy 12-year-old Gilly has a history of petty theft and she's not too sorry about it. When she lifts a hair clip, she gets tossed in reform school-for at least three months. But when she meets fellow students Jax and Kayla, she learns there's more to this school than its sweet mission. There's a battle brewing and she starts to wonder: can a villian really change?

Review:
  • It was really easy for me to get lost in this book and forget that it was meant as middle grade reading. I am a huge fan of fairy tales and their retelling  in general, I am first to give them a try and I am first to recommend them to any one looking for a good read.
  •  This book did not have a lot of the fairy tale aspect, there were hints of it here in there, as in the woman who lives in the shoe, the princess's snow white, rapunzel and cinderella. As well as their villains but otherwise this book was just like any other one.  Which isn't a bad thing at all.
  • I enjoyed trying to piece the puzzles together to find out who was behind all of the nefarious activities that started popping up in the school.
  • I would love for this to become a Young Adult book just because I would like to see some love interests develop and spice things up because this has the makings of a great series.

Review:
  • I love this book! It was a quick read for me but it was a fun one. Like all high school kids I wrote in a note book and passed it back and forth between my friends as we went from one class to the next so this book was one I could easily relate to,even as an adult.
  • Part of why I liked this book so much was the innocence in the book, even when they did the big IT, it stayed true to the characters personality and there was no details just that kinda awkward declaration that you are no longer a virgin.
  • I liked the music aspect as well, it fit right in with the story.
  • It was cute watching them struggle and discover the tricky world that is dating, especially in high school. I even rooted for the good guy and was glad that things went smoothly for him in the end. Normally I am all for the trick ending, woe is me, or the bad guys wins since those endings are never given but in this book the characters are so easy to relate to, it made me think they were real life friends and I wanted the best for them.
  • This is definitely the book I will recommend to my younger siblings who are still in high school.

Review:

  • I actually thought that this book was really cute and sadly on spot on. The author was able to capture what it is like to be a tom boy n be caught in the middle of finally growing up and what happens when those best friends you have as guys start to realize that your parts really are different from theirs.  I should know all about it since that was my life in a nut shell. This book brought back a lot of my fond memories of my tomboy antics and how hard it was to deal with the changing relationships that occurred as we grew and matured.

  • I like the way the author capture the awkwardness that comes with being a girl and not knowing where you fit when it comes to your skin, not knowing how to be girly when all you have known is the boyish ways you grew secure in.

  • It was fun to watch the love interests grow and bloom in this book, although the end was fairly predictable but that is normally the case when it comes to the romantic points.

  • This book also touched on the sensitive subject of loosing a parent and having to deal with the replacement of them. How the pain never leaves and how hard it can be to accept and bond with the new step parent. It will make you want to step back and re-asses the situations.

Review:
This book was on the top of my birthday/Christmas list, this entire series has actually made it into my top favorite must have sections and I find that I will always recommend it when someone asks me for something new to read.

Not only did I order the print copy of this book but I found that I could not wait for it to arrive in my mail box and went ahead and ordered the e-book just so I could go ahead and sink my claws into the next part of Evie's story.

In Endless night we learned quite a bit about our mysterious would be villain who is not so bad as he seems. And lets face it, after learning the truth about Death and the trials he has face when it came to life and the fact that no matter what she did, or who he was  he always fell for The Emperess, I found myself firmly on team Death's side. This book only strengthened my resolve. Seriously I wanted to shake some sense into Evie as she struggle with her choice of men.

Don't get me wrong I love the cajun but my love for Death is much more. The fact that he comes for Evie, lowers his walls and takes up arms with a man he despises all for her makes me want to just throw myself at him.

More arcana reveal themselves in this book, some of them fall, some of them disappear, and of course our heroes are forced with obstacles and choices that you cannot even begin to imagine. Kresley Cole takes you on a roller coaster ride that leaves you breathless and has your stomach churning after wards.

Evie is also recovering more of her memories of her past life and the atrocities she committed as she comes face to face with the Lovers and learns more truths then one could possibly bare.

I was dying to see how they rescued Jack and even Selena in this book. Kresley Cole provides enough love and action that I read through this book in five hours. You get just about everything you could ever want in this book and then some, from gore to love, horror's to inspiration. I was riveted and as I found myself coming to the end I wanted to scream.

I literally posted over social media my annoyance that I had to wait for another book because if you thought Endless Knight left off on a cliff hanger, honey you haven't seen anything yet to this whopper of an ending.

This was money well spent and all I can say is "PLEASE RELEASE #4 NOW!"
